 Future proofing your production: HD and 16:9 formats
Don’t
forget to future proof your production. Widescreen, (16:9), is now
commonplace and High Definition, (HD), recording and editing are now
possible. We advise all our customers to shoot their productions in
these formats even if they only require a standard definition product
at present*.

widescreen cost no more to shoot than current 4:3, while the only extra
cost with HD is the higher price of tape stock. A HD edit can be
mastered in standard definition today and re-mastered to a HD format,
HD DVD for example, at a later date.
